When your employee is sick for more than a year, as an employer you are obliged to support the employee through a reintegration 2nd track process. This is stipulated from the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter. The first consideration is the employee’s reintegration into his own job with his own employer. If that fails, the employer then looks for suitable work in another place within the company. This is called the 1st track.
If this is not appropriate, reintegration 2nd track follows. We accompany the employee until the end of the waiting period, with our innovative program in reintegration 2nd track (Spoor2) to a job outside the own company.
